Candidate should possess Good knowledge of Digital Design, CMOS Technologies,  and basic Electronic Understanding of communication protocol and possess Knowledge of VLSI and VHDL / Verilog HDL languages and Knowledge of Processors and Understanding of logic synthesis, formal verification and static timing analysis   Understanding of Board design.
